I take a lot of pictures. Most of which never see beyond my camera roll. But I’d like to be able to look back on my life in little snippets. So here’s a photo dump of all the things I did in October 2021.
I started off the month by checking out an annual rummage sale. If you live in the central/north Jersey area, the VNA sale is not one to miss. I also got some green curry on a chilly fall day and the restaurant gave me the best (no pun intended) name ever. And Grigio, Bacio and I binged Squid Game.
Speaking of Grigio and Bacio. There were a lot of cuddles this month. There are a lot of cuddles every month but I’m just stating facts. Something new happened recently: Grigio napped on top of me with his belly exposed. I adopted him in 2017 and this is the first time he’s totally passed out in such a vulnerable position. I guess he does like me.
To get into the fall spirit, we tried to take some of the littles apple picking. It started pouring rain within 5 minutes of stepping into the orchard but I did get a box of the best apple cider donuts I’ve ever tasted so it wasn’t a complete fail.
We failed again to go pumpkin picking. The farm’s hayride didn’t run on Fridays so we just checked out the animals and took some fall pictures right outside the store. More apple cider donuts were purchased and promptly consumed.
I had a spontaneous day date in Princeton. I got to hit up my favorite spots. I hadn’t been to Princeton since February 2020 right before the world shut down so it was nice to eat, drink and explore again.
My new neighbor gave me an end table for free which caused me to rearrange my house. Maybe one day I’ll finally do a house tour. I discovered that white cheddar Cheez-Its were a great add-in to tomato soup. The tree outside my window was screaming FALL VIBES. I got a calzone the size of my head. And my Thai restaurant outdid themselves with my name. Please only refer to be as Brestney from now on.
